Crazy scenarios

I shake my head, trying to shush the voice lodged in some corner of my brain. Don’t be so stupid, I tell myself, failing to will my imagination into submission. I don’t need crazy scenarios right now, but it sticks, that damn gut feeling. I daren’t confront Antony, he’d probably make fun of me and roar with laughter.
